Responsibilities

  • Conducts inventory audit on warehouses and stores.
  • Checks purchase orders versus remaining inventory.
  • Authorizes use of items for sampling and marketing shoots.
  • Submits inventory audit reports to management.
  • Implements necessary inventory management protocols. 
  • Make sure the data in the company’s computer system are accurate. 
  • Accomplishes this by various means, including counting, data entry, and reconcilling.
  • Inventory data are kept accurate by adjusting the computer inventory to whatever the physical count is.
  • Reviews daily sales reports and negative inventory reports to locate discrepancies in data. 

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience in inventory counting is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. 
  • Experience with retail management software.
